Continuing with my post on the TSQL Sql Server PIVOT.
I have found this interesting feature in excel. Hiw many times do we want to perform the transformation of rows from vertical to horizontal.
Steps to follow:
1.Select Data.
2.Select Pivot table and Pivot Chart Report
3.Select the data you want to transform.
4.Select the layout button to specify which columns gets transformed and how you want to lay your data. Also select the data column and specify the aggregation formula.
5.Place the table on the same sheet.
Lo!! you have performed the difficult thing in a few steps in excel.
